Don't put your confidence in powerful people there is no help for you there, their breathing stops and they return to the earth and in a moment their plans disappear
But happy are the ones who have the God of Abraham to help them those whose hope is in the Lord their God. He's the one who made the heavens earth the seas and all that's in them the One who keeps His promise forever.
The Lord gives justice to the crushed and food to all the hungry ones it's He who sets the prisoners free. The Lord who opens blinded eyes he also lifts the burdens high from those whose backs are bent beneath their loads.
The Lord He reigns forever He is king in every generation He frustrates the plans of the wicked. The Lord who loves the righteous He protects the foreigner among us He cares for the orphan and widow.

In this world we have trouble but the Lord comforts still saying "take heart I've overcome the world" and in Him we have peace and our sorrows will cease in that home He is preparing for His own

Some times we grow weary but we must run the race till the Lord comes and says "well done" then the morning will be bright where the Lamb is the light and the night is as fair as the day

There the bear will be gentle and the wolf will be tame and the lion will lie down by the lamb and the beasts of the wild will be led by a child and I'll be changed from this creature Lord that I am
